JOB OVERVIEW
In accordance with established management and accounting policies and procedures, the successful candidate will participate in the management and bookkeeping accountabilities for the USA office. This position has access to and works with information of a sensitive, highly confidential nature, and regularly deals with diverse matters which require a working knowledge of best practices in office management, bookkeeping, insurance, bonding, account collects, union and government reporting, and taxes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate will be energetic, articulate, polished Office Manager/Bookkeeper.
Responsibilities include bookkeeping (A/P and A/R) plus monthly financial statements, collections, bank reconciliations, preparing state and federal reports, office management & administration , strong organizational skills with hands-on experience managing a construction office. Will be contacting subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and validating billing; will be making collection calls, preparing payroll documentation; maintaining confidential files and handling ad-hoc projects when and as required. Must have the ability to work independently and also be a team player. Must be detail and deadline oriented.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate will have 5 yrs+ in similar role in the Construction Industry. Must have a can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task. Must be highly proficient in Jonas Software and Microsoft Office. Accounting Degree Preferred but not required. Candidate must bring a high level of integrity to this position. Must possess strong technical, organizational, managerial, and communication (both oral and written) skills.
The ideal candidate must be fully capable of stepping into this role with the ability to hit the ground running….this is not a position that we have time to train.
Candidate must have the ability to manage in a fast paced and evolving work environment (adapt well to change)
